MystNodes Launches Rewards System: A Look at the New Feature

Spring has sprung, and we’re back in action! Here at MystNodes, our team is thrilled to announce that today, we’re rolling out a reward system, which is a new feature of the MystNodes app.

This update doesn’t change the way MystNodes works. The new reward system is an additional way for node runners to earn rewards based on their participation. Let’s get into it!

With this new feature, node runners can earn points in a few different ways, and at the end of the month, they can swap their points for MYST tokens and take a share of the monthly reward pool (more on that below).

The value of each point depends on the total monthly reward pool, the total number of participants, and the total number of points accumulated by all participants.

You, as a node runner, have different ways to earn points, and at the end of every month, you can swap your points for MYST tokens. Not all ways (also called “modules”) will earn you the same amount of points, and the points earned from a module are multiplied by its assigned weight. We recommend combining as many modules as possible! 

First way to earn points is by holding or buying MYST tokens – you must hold at least 100 MYST tokens to start earning points from your token holdings. The more tokens you have, the more points you earn. As of March 4th, 2026, more than 472K people worldwide have MYST tokens in their wallets, totalling over 20 million MYST – wouldn’t you like to join them?

Last but not least, under our new reward system, each node runner will earn points based on their uptime. Basically, the longer you leave the MystNodes app running, the more points you’ll earn. If you connect more than one device to your account and keep it running, you’ll be combining longer uptimes and higher data transfer rates. More points, anyone? We’re in!

How Does the Reward Pool Work?

Let’s dive into the reward pool and how it all works. At the end of every month, the MystNodes reward pool will be distributed to all participants in the reward system. Once the rewards (points that can be turned into MYST) are distributed, you have 30 days to claim them. If you don’t, all unclaimed rewards are forfeited and go back into the pool for next month.

All the points you collect as part of the reward system can be swapped in the reward system page at the end of every month.

Can I Participate?

• Have a cryptocurrency wallet: Like we said at the start, you can exchange MYST in wallets that support Polygon MYST, like MetaMask.
• Connect your wallet to the platform: The connected wallet will be used to track participation and distribute rewards. 

That’s all! The new reward system is built as an extra incentive to boost your earnings by providing value to Mysterium Network, so as long as you have a crypto wallet and can leave the app running on your device, you’re a valued member of our community and the reward system.
